SHORT-TERM NOTICE
FOR FABRICATION OF DISTRICT TYPE BUSES
PUNBUS, a
wholly owned Punjab Government Company invites offers for
fabrication of buses on TATA 1512 TC WB 205” and Leyland Cheetah.

Eligibility
Criteria for the Offering firms:
1.
The firm should have an average annual turn over of Rs. 3 crores
in the last three financial year i.e. 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06.
2.
The firm should have built up at least 30 such buses in the last
financial year. Detailed terms and conditions and Specifications
are given in the bid documents.
3.
The firms should have minimum plant, machinery and expertise as
specified in the tender documents.
Earnest Money
The forms
interested in participating are requested to submit their
application along with refundable Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.
25000 ( Twenty five thousand only) in the form of a Demand Draft
of any Bank payable at Chandigarh drawn in favour of Managing
Director PUNBUS valid for six months. The EMD does not carry any
interest.

The documents
giving the detail about specifications and other terms and
conditions etc. can be obtained from the office of the Managing
Director, Punjab State Bus Stand Management Company Ltd.,
Jeevendeep Building, Sector 17-C, Chandigarh on any working day on
payment of Rs. 5000 (Rs. Five thousand only) till 13.9.2006 upto
12 Noon.
The firms
should submit the Technical Bid and Acceptance of rates of PUNBUS
in separate Envelopes so as to reach the MD PUNBUS by 14.9.2006
upto 1 p.m.
The technical
bid of the firm will be evaluated by a technical evaluation
Committee and the Committee may visit the premises of the firm if
found necessary. The decision of the Technical Evaluation
committee about eligibility of the firm will be final. Offers of
only those firms, which qualify in the Technical evaluation, will
be considered.
The Managing
Director PUNBUS reserves the right to accept or reject any
proposal without assigning any reason.
